LAST SUPPER WITH EDDYFLAMES

Image
HALLOWEEN It’s another Halloween, Freddy wakes up, feeling eager like is Christians do on Christmas, He wasn’t born a Celt or even had the Celtic belief of Halloween,  People say he is a loner and keeps to himself, To others he is just the nerdy librarian, But the truth is, he’s a devils incarnate, If the devil had a time off, Freddy could be his replacement. He lives on the outer part of town, Where his deeds could never be traced. He opens his vault choosing his weapon, This isn’t a movie, its reality to him, He brings movie acts into reality, To him it’s another anniversary, His knife coated with blood of his last victim. He has no new location to source victims, The neighborhood avoids the park, He seats down thinking, Suddenly a knock on the door, Pondering who was there, A female voice answered, I need help, Freddy looks at the mirror with a grimace smile … Purple Butterfly. 🦋 Imasuen Edward A. also known as...

HISTORY ON THURSDAYS WITH COLLYBRIGHT

Image
*A young woman on Facebook shared her ordeal living with NEUROFIBROSIS (Inflammation on the skin)  _"I went for an interview at Lekki.  While we were all waiting for the interview to start,  the security man told me to hand over my CV and leave the premises.  I was shocked and surprised.  I had no issues with anybody and I tried to find out the reason they wanted me to get out,  even before the interview started.  But nobody offered any explanation.  The security man said he was told to send me out and if I didn't want to drop my CV,  that's up to me.  He just wants me to leave.  To avoid creating a scene,  I dropped my CV and left.  I never got to hear from them.  I was broken and torn apart.  What did I do to deserve this sort of humiliation and ill treatment?  I only have neurofibromatosis which causes tumor to grow on my skin.  But it is not contagious or infectious in any way.  I grew...

11 Things I’ve Learned After Living in France for 1.5 Years

Image
It seems that we know everything about France — or almost everything. The Eiffel Tower, fresh pastries, and romantic Provence. However, real life is often very different to a short trip. A Bright Side author has lived in France for 1.5 years and decided to share some of her observations and some unexpected facts. 1. It’s very hard to find a place to live in France. Renting an apartment is hard not only for a foreigner but even for a Frenchman: an apartment for rent will have a lot of potential tenants within 30 minutes of the ad being published. Future tenants come to look over an apartment with their rĂ©sumĂ© and portfolio because the important factor is not how much a person makes: the most important thing is to make the landlord like you. A 9-m room with a shared toilet for everyone on the same floor costs quite a lot. French people say that they have a hard time evaluating the size because even 25- to 30-m apartments seem vast to them. And having a washing machine ...

When can I have sex after being pregnant?

By Lori Smith, BSN, MSN, CRNP  Reviewed by Holly Ernst, PA-C After about 9 months of reduced sexual activity during pregnancy, a couple may be ready to resume intercourse shortly after the birth of the baby. A couple should generally avoid sexual intercourse in the 4–6 weeks following vaginal or cesarean delivery. However, speak to a healthcare provider before resuming sexual activity. If a woman has had a cesarean delivery, a perineal tear, or episiotomy, a medical professional will likely recommend that a couple waits until the 6-week postpartum visit before resuming sexual activity. Following childbirth, a woman's body enters a healing phase when bleeding stops, tears heal, and the cervix closes. Having intercourse too early, especially within the first 2 weeks, increases the risk of postpartum hemorrhage or uterine infection. Several factors determine whether someone is ready to resume sexual intercourse following the birth of an infant, including: ...

A Gentleman’s Guide to Watch Bands & Straps

Image
There's no easier way to upgrade your timepiece than with a well-chosen watch band Written by Becca Stonebraker When asked for the time, most of us take a quick glance at our smartphones instead of a watch. However, the timepiece isn’t going anywhere. Watches aren’t just functional — they’re fashionable too.  Whether it’s a piece you wear every day or something you only bring out for special occasions, it’s something every man should have in his wardrobe. The band plays a huge role in a watch’s overall look — that’s why we’re focusing on that particular piece.  Here are just a few of the many types of bands out there, and some tips on the best ways to wear them. Classic Leather The most common choice is the leather band, without any bells and whistles. Its classic design makes it easy to dress up or down. Leather looks equally great at the office as it does at a more formal occasion like a wedding. Neutral colors like black, brown, or tan are great...

Eyebrow mistakes you don't know you're making

Image
BY BRITTANY BROLLEY Grooming and shaping your eyebrows can be a struggle. Even if you've become proficient in contouring or have mastered the dark magic of making your winged eyeliner symmetrical, your brows may still be an enigma. But don't feel bad — it's just one of those things. Lena Dunham once called good brows her "great white whale" and eventually turned to microblading — a type of semipermanent tattoos used to create fuller-looking brows. While this can be a great way to achieve near-perfect eyebrows, it can be expensive and, yes, painful.  Whether you've been considering microblading or not, there are plenty of things you can try now to get your brows on fleek — and all without spending hundreds of dollars. We've compiled some of the best tips from the world's leading brow experts to help you correct any and all of the brow gaffes you've been making — even if you didn't even know you were making them. Sticking with th...
