COVID- 19 (The Coronavirus Poem)

I hear the whispers

Underneath trembling breath

Loud silence soaked in a cold bath of fears

Dripping with the thoughts of death

How dreadful can COVID-19 be?

Could it have been imagined?

That like a celebrity,

It's the only song on the world's lips

Finding home in screaming headlines

What else is popular as COVID-19?

Everything is falling apart

But there's a prayer in every heart

That this pandemic would pass

That its taunting memories would not last

And the world will smile again.

Howbeit! It's time we realize

That all we've got is ourselves

And nothing else

Together, we can fight this off

And rewrite this panicking pandemic.
