HOW PEOPLE FALL IN LOVE

Isn't it mysterious

Sometimes stupid to senses

To understand

How people fall in love?

Some fall

By an arresting stare of eyes

That captures their hearts

And they simply surrender.

Some fall

By the soothing words of a voice

The un-prescribed antidote

That heals their pains.

Some fall

By the savouring sight of lips

Coated with juicy toppings

And can't resist the crave for a taste.

Some fall

By the beauty of a face.

For Chiseled good looks

And they can't stop to behold.

Some fall

By sipping the liquor

of an intoxicating smile

And don't mind being drunk in it.

Some fall

Like the writer of this poem

By an unexplainable feeling

That sometimes feels like madness.

Some fall

By the touch of a hand

Infused with care.

And they simply can't let go.

For a million reasons,

People fall in love

Mysterious or stupid

What feeling can be better than falling in love?
