INSIGHTS ON LIFE

If Black Panther Was A Nigerian

In a scene of the Black Panther movie, the hero rescued kidnapped Chibok girls as simple as striking a match. What seemed impossible to the Nigerian army to solve for three years, the Black Panther did in less than three minutes. If Black Panther was a Nigerian this simple victory over Boko Haram will earn him huge votes should he contest.

But, if Black Panther was a Nigerian, what would be of him?

Will he need to contest election to become president? Would he have killed the bad elements that keep this country in darkness? Would he have eliminated every myopic and vision-less politician? Would he have exposed false religious leaders and grounded religious institutions that are nothing but houses of bondages?

If the Black Panther was a Nigerian, would he have gone against Fulani herdsmen before they escape after their bloody adventures? Would he have dug out evil men and women who commit abominable works of evil in secret places? Would he have taught Nigerians new knowledge and brought about a revolution of ideas? Would he be authoritarian or democratic?

Or, would the Black Panther had been a hip-hop artiste if he was a Nigerian? Would he sing about money, sex and party? Would he be a pastor and fleece his members of their money through high-sounding words? Would he be an Imam and propagate indoctrination of simple folks? Would he be a corrupt politician? Would he be locked up in jail? Would he be tied down in a spiritual cage against self-realization? Would he be frustrated? Would he have thrown himself into the lagoon because of frustration? Would he still be alive? Would he be a superhero?

If Black Panther was a Nigerian, he would have too much problems to face and too much enemies to fight. If he was a Nigerian, he might not be Black Panther. He might have gone overseas in search of greener pastures.

If you were the Black Panther, what would be of you and Nigeria?
