12 Bathroom Life Hacks That Can Save Your Day
We spend a lot of time in our bathroom and
sometimes it isn’t that easy to keep it clean and well-organized. If you want
to make your life easier why don’t you try the following life hacks that will
make your bathroom a comfortable place and make cleaning it so much quicker?
Bright Side found a few original bathroom life
hacks that bloggers posted on their pages and we’d like to share these ideas
with you.
If your
soap bar always gets slushy in the soap dish, put a sponge there instead.
The sponge will absorb water, and your soap
will stay dry. For more details click here.
You can
make a soft and well-absorbing bathroom rug out of 3 towels.
You can find the detailed instructions here.
Make a
special curtain to take your phone and tablet into the shower.
If you often need to use your phone in the
shower, you can make this cool, clear, plastic shower curtain. For more details
please click here.
If your
bathroom rug always moves, use hook-and-loop tape.
Glue one part of the tape to the floor and the
other one to the rug. The rug won’t slide any more. See here for more details.
If you
want your towels to smell fresh, and not musty, use a spray made of water and
essential oils.
Mix water with a few drops of your favorite
essential oil. Then spray this mixture onto your towels. Your bathroom will
smell fresh now. For more details, please see here.
You can
use a plastic cutlery tray to store your cosmetic products and other small
things.
For more details see here.
Use
toilet paper to freshen the air in your bathroom.
A few drops of essential oil on a roll of
toilet paper will freshen your bathroom better than any fragrance diffuser. You
can find more details here.
If you
want your cosmetic tubes to take up less space in your bathroom, hang them up.
Use a shower curtain rod and pegs to store all
of your cosmetic tubes. You can find more details on this here.
You can
make an excellent towel rack out of PVC pipe.
You can hang this rack behind your door to save
space in your bathroom. More details on how to make this rack can be found
here.
Use the
remaining pieces of soap bars smartly.
You can easily make a new bar of soap from
several smaller pieces. Just put them into a boiling-water bath, pour the
liquid soap into different forms, and let them cool down. Or you can put them
inside your loofah and wash as usual. More details can be found here.
To
prevent the bathroom mirror from fogging up, use shaving gel.
Apply gel on the mirror and spread it equally
over the entire surface. Then remove it with a dry paper towel. Learn more
about it here.
A 2-in-1
soap-loofah is very convenient and cute.
You’ll need felting wool and regular soap. You
can see the felting technique here.
