INSIGHTS ON LIFE

Does Financial Wealth and Material Acquisition Really Matter?

Days ago, I threw out a question asking if wealth really matters and what people think about wealth. Some insightful responses followed the question, some statement came from doubtful minds and others weren't just clear as to what wealth is to them.

Does wealth really matter. Does being financially wealthy a state to be coveted by all humans? Why do we all have to be rich? Irrespective of whether you're spiritually rich with psychic powers and able to navigate the world of the unseen, and whether or not you are rich in health, or in friends, or in book knowledge, being financially wealthy is a state every man has a right to aspire to. Having lots of money makes experiencing physical life very interesting.

In his book, The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles makes the following profound statement, that:

"Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No one can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money, for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with. A person develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things. Therefore, the basis of all advancement must be the science of getting rich. The object of all life is development, and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining. A person’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich".

Therefore, no matter your vocation, your goals and aspirations, or where in the world you're located, if you resolve in your heart to enjoy more of life, then you must know you have a right to wealth and then it is of necessity that you apply your mind to the acquisition of as much financial resources as you can earn. Your mind must aid you in doing things differently as this is how you stand out and attract people to you who are willing to pay for what you offer.

It is your right to be rich. Never settle for little.
