Disappointment (This Appointed Time) Chapter Three

Welcome to the Third Chapter, please follow the link to read the first and the second chapters.

"This life is really unfair" Tayo said to himself as he locked the door. He brought out his phone from his pocket and took another glance at Vanessa's picture before deleting it. He went to bed looking tired and sad.

"Good morning my people.... It is another Saturday morning and it's just ten minutes past seven. Our discussion this morning is about how to handle heartbreaks in a relationship......" Vanessa turned off the radio in annoyance and went for her early morning jogging. The topic of discussion did not interest her. She kept wondering how Tayo must be coping with her decision but she still hoped he would understand and move on without her.

"Why did Vanessa do this; I still don't understand why she did this." Tayo muttered to himself in his bedroom.

"I need to find out from her, I can't just stay back. You can't make a decision without a reason or not telling the person the reason behind your decision". Tayo said out loud and felt like going to confront Vanessa rather than giving up like a coward.

"I have to go and see her". He hurriedly got dressed and didn't eat breakfast. As he drove to Vanessa's house, he kept wondering what he would say and why he was going there. He had it all planned in his head before he left home but as he was driving to her house, he was short of words. He didn't know what he would say there.

"Maybe I should turn back and just go home. It's over already".   Tayo said. He was deep in thoughts. He lost control of himself and started driving on a high speed. His vehicle was going on a fast speed behind a lorry and as he tried to step on the brakes they failed. Tayo's vehicle crashed into the lorry.  People who came to the rescue saw his head on the steering wheel.
